NYC PREMIERE A colorful historic mining town of 300 people tucked away in the mountains of Colorado may seem remote, but Creede is in no way immune to the culture clashes raging through the country. Everyday spaces become sites of tension, and neighborly relations grow fraught. Yet this wonderful film, and the people of Creede themselves, remind us that common ground is still possible to find in American society. - Bedatri D. Choudhury
The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Kahane Corn Cooperman, producer Innbo Shim, and film participants Lexy Mead, Dan Mead and Kristeen Lopez.
All in-person screening venues provide sound amplification headphones upon request with venue management. IFC Center can also provide a T-Coil loop for compatible devices.
