WORLD PREMIERE Trumpeter, composer, educator, and storyteller Lani B. Supreme (Jelani Akil Bauman) carries forward a musical legacy that began with his great-great-grandfather before emancipation. Driven by his family’s craft, Bauman’s music celebrates Black creative expression.
The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Jelani Bauman.
All in-person screening venues provide sound amplification headphones upon request with venue management. IFC Center can also provide a T-Coil loop for compatible devices.
