NYC PREMIERE The central Indian city of Panna is home to a tiger reserve and a whole ecosystem around it: Indigenous tribes who have called the forest home for centuries, tourists who often mar the sanctity of that home, tour guides and conservationists who walk the tightrope of balancing the travel economy with animal safety. The film is a longitudinal study of the community that rises and falls with the tiger populations. - Bedatri D. Choudhury
The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with writer/director Sarthak Verma and cinematographer Karan Salunkhe.
