An Alaskan sound specialist works for preservation while experiencing two kinds of loss: the wilderness’ fading songs of wildlife, as climate change threatens natural populations; and his mother's fading memory, as she slowly succumbs to dementia.
The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Taliesin Black-Brown and producer Sam Davis.
All in-person screening venues provide sound amplification headphones upon request with venue management. IFC Center can also provide a T-Coil loop for compatible devices.
